A charter boat website that books trips while you are out fishing

You are ten miles out, the fish are biting, and your phone buzzes in your pocket. It buzzes again. By the time you are back at the dock, there are four voicemails. Two of those people already booked with someone else.
Every captain knows this. The best days on the water are the worst days to be stuck on the phone. You need a site that takes the booking for you, takes the deposit, and keeps your calendar straight while you work.
A real charter runs this site today
Most of our starters show a made-up business as a demo. This one is different.
Big Coast Marine Adventures is a real charter business and a client of ours. Guests book fishing trips and tours on its site today. Our Fishing Charter starter is built from that same site. Your version gets your own name, your boat and your trips.
And here is the plain deal: everything the Big Coast home page shows comes with your Launch. Go look at it, and know that is what you get.
What comes with your Launch
On the guest side, that means:
- A live marine forecast that shows the next good days for the places you fish, with a book button on each good day. A forecast is not a promise that a trip will run.
- Trip and price cards with a Book Now button, one for each trip you run.
- Booking with a deposit paid into your own Stripe, PayPal or Square account. We never hold your money.
- Guest accounts, so people can sign in and see their trips.
- A catch calculator that uses the prices you set. It shows how it gets the number, and it does not promise a catch.
- A fishing rules page for your waters, with links to the official pages and the date we checked them. It is not legal advice.
- A plan-your-trip page, a photo gallery of your own trips, a meet-your-captain section, and guest reviews written only by your own guests.
- Pages for each town and stretch of water you fish, plus a live seafood prices page.
Behind the scenes, you get the tools Big Coast runs too. Guests can save a card, so the balance is charged on its own before the trip, with reminder emails. Guests can tip after a trip. Booking follows your own calendar, so a taken time is not offered twice. There are species pages, video, a newsletter and an expense log for your receipts.
Only one thing costs extra: taking cards in person on a card reader.
Weather days and rain checks
Bad weather is part of the job. When a day looks wrong, block it on your calendar. It is no longer offered. Every guest is already in your contact list, so you can reach the people booked that day and move them.
The call where we set it up
The starter code is free, and anyone can clone it for $0. A Launch is $2,500, paid once. You get two hours, live, with one of our people. We connect your calendar, set your trips and hours, hook up your payment account, and make one real test booking with you.
Then we teach you how to change your site by telling it what you want, in plain English, like a text message. Type "add a sunset tour on Fridays." Type "raise the half-day trip price for summer." You look it over, and it goes live. That way of building is called vibe coding, and you make one real change like this on the call.
We also show you the visual editor, so you can swap a photo or fix a line by clicking on it.
Your boat, your site
Your site runs in your own Replit account. We charge $0 a month. Your host bills about $20 US a month for use, or we can host it for $19 a month. You own the code and can leave with a full copy any time.
