Your restaurant menu changed tonight. Your website can too.

At four in the afternoon, the chef wipes the chalkboard clean. The fish came in better than planned. The squash did not come at all. By five, the board shows tonight's menu.
Your website still shows the menu from last spring. It is a scanned page you can barely read on a phone. A guest looking at it right now thinks you still serve the dish you dropped in May.
It is not that you do not care. It is that changing the site has always meant emailing someone and waiting.
A site that keeps up with the kitchen
The Restaurant starter is a full website made for a place that cooks. It is built around the things guests check before they come:
- Your menu, as real text. Easy to read on a phone. Sorted the way you like, with notes for guests who avoid gluten, meat or nuts, if you want them.
- Your hours and where to find you, right at the top.
- A table request. A guest picks a party size and a time. The request goes to the inbox you name, and you confirm it.
- A private event form. Birthday dinners, rehearsal dinners, office parties. The guest says what they are planning. You get the details in one email.
- Your story and your people, with the real names you send us.
You can see one look the starter can have on our demo, Ember & Salt. Ember & Salt is a made-up restaurant we run as a demo. It shows extras, like delivery and a loyalty program. Those are shown on the demo and are not part of a Launch unless they are on your Launch list.
Change the menu like you text your sous chef
Here is the heart of it. After Launch, you change your site by telling it what you want, in plain English, like a text message.
The halibut sold out? Type "take the halibut off tonight's menu." Fall is here? Type "add the pumpkin ravioli to the dinner menu, and move the summer salads to the bottom." Closing for a family wedding? Type "add a note that we are closed this Sunday."
That way of building is called vibe coding. On your Launch call, you make one real change this way, with one of our people beside you. We also teach you the visual editor. You click a word or a photo and change it where it sits. Good for a new photo of the dining room.
The tools behind the menu
A Launch includes two hours of live building with one of our people. We set up and test the tools you want from this list:
- Online booking, for things that run on a calendar, like a chef's table night or a tour of your private room. We connect your Google or Microsoft calendar, add your hours, and make one real test booking.
- Online payments. Event deposits and gift cards go into your own Stripe, PayPal or Square account. We never hold your money.
- A small online store, if you sell something to take home, like a house sauce or a cookbook. We test it with one real order.
- One contact list. Every form, booking and payment becomes a contact. We bring over the list you already have.
- A guest portal. Guests sign in with a code we email them to see their bookings, invoices and files.
We also walk you through your own admin, so you know where every request lands.
One price, and the site stays yours
The starter code is free and open source. Anyone can clone it for $0.
A Launch is $2,500, paid once. Your site runs in your own Replit account. We charge $0 a month. Your host bills about $20 US a month for use. You own the code. You can leave any time, with a full copy in hand.
A chat box is there if you want one. It only answers from facts you approve, like your hours and whether you take walk-ins.
