A website that is just you: the Talent starter for actors, authors and speakers

WeVibeSitesUpdated
WeVibeSites.com cover for the Talent starter: a microphone beside the post title.

Someone just heard you speak. Or they finished your book on the train. Or they saw you in a play last night. Now they type your name into their phone.

What do they find? Maybe an old page from an agency. Maybe a profile you set up years ago and forgot. Maybe nothing that sounds like you at all.

You are the brand. Your site should feel like you, too.

One person, one site

Most site builders assume you are a company. The Talent starter does not. It is made for one named person. Your name sits at the top. Your work, your story and your press live under it.

Here is what the starter is built to hold:

  • Your work. Books, roles, talks, shows, episodes. Each one can have its own page.
  • Your story. A bio in your words. We never make up credits or a life story.
  • Your press. Articles and interviews you send us, posted with your okay.
  • A way to reach you. One form for people who want to work with you. Each message goes to the inbox you name.

You can look at the starter on its starter page. It is filled with a made-up person so you can see the shape. Some things on that demo are not part of a Launch. Your Launch list says what is.

Sessions people can book

Lots of named people sell their time. A coaching call. A read-through for a script. A talk at a school. A short video message for a fan.

If you offer sessions like these, we can set up online booking with you. We connect your Google or Microsoft calendar. We add your session types and the hours you want to keep. Then we make one real test booking, together, so you know it works.

If you do not sell your time, we leave booking off. The site does not pretend.

A shop, only if you have one

Do you sell signed books, prints, a course or a fan club? Then a shop or a membership can make sense. We list what you sell. Orders are paid into your own Stripe, PayPal or Square account. We never hold your money. We test it with one real order.

No shop? No problem. We do not invent products to fill a page.

Change it the night before the big day

Here is the part people like best. After Launch, you do not wait on a web person. You change your site by telling it what you want, in plain English, like a text message.

Your new book comes out Tuesday. You type "add my new book to the top of the home page, with this cover." A tour is set? You type "add a page with my tour dates." That way of building is called vibe coding. On the call, you make one real change this way, with us beside you.

We also teach you the visual editor. You click a word or a photo and change it right where it sits. It is good for small fixes, like a new headshot.

How a Launch works

The starter code is free and open source. Anyone can clone it for $0. If you would rather have us build it with you, that is a Launch.

A Launch is $2,500, paid once. It includes two hours, live, with one of our people. We set up what you want from this list and test each one:

  • Online booking for the sessions you offer
  • Payments into your own account
  • A client portal, where people sign in with a code we email them
  • One contact list, so every form, booking and order becomes a contact
  • A shop or membership, only if you sell one

A chat box is there if you want it. It only answers from facts you approve. We also walk you through your own admin, so you can find every message and booking without us.

Your site runs in your own Replit account. We charge $0 a month. Your host bills about $20 US a month for use. You own the code, and you can leave any time with a full copy.
