A venture fund website for founders and for the partners behind the fund

WeVibeSitesUpdated
WeVibeSites.com cover for the Venture capital starter: a rocket beside the post title.

Two people visit a fund's website in the same week.

The first is a founder. She has a demo, a small team and a lot of nerve. She wants to know what you invest in, who she would work with and how to send you her deck. If she can't tell, she moves on to the next fund on her list.

The second is someone thinking about putting money into your next fund. He is slow and careful. He reads your thesis twice. He wants to see who you are and what you have backed, and he wants a quiet way to reach you.

A good fund site serves both of them, without mixing them up. That is what our Venture Capital & Investment starter does.

For the founder

The starter has a page for your thesis, in the words you wrote. It has a grid of the companies you have backed, with only the names you choose to list. It has a page for each partner, with the real names and bios you send us.

And it has a founder form. A founder fills in the basics and attaches a deck. It goes to the inbox you name, and the founder lands in your contact list. Nothing falls into a shared mailbox and gets lost.

For the investor

There is a separate form for people who want to learn about investing with you. It goes to the inbox you choose.

If you want it, we set up a portal. Your investors sign in with a code we email them. They see the files you share with them, like the reports you send out. They see nothing you do not put there.

The site never makes up returns or numbers. It does not give financial advice. It says what you tell it, and the notices your kind of firm needs are on it.

You can see one look it can have on NVC Ventures. It is a made-up fund we run as a demo. It shows a company grid, an investor form, partner pages and a thesis page. Those are shown on the demo. They are not part of a Launch unless they are on your Launch list.

For you: the Launch

The starter code is free. Anyone can clone it for $0. A Launch is $2,500, paid once. It is two hours, live, with one of our people. On the call, we set up and test the tools you pick:

  • Online booking. We connect your Google or Microsoft calendar. We add your meeting types, like founder intro calls, and your hours. Then we make one real test booking.
  • The portal for investors or the companies you back, with sign-in by emailed code.
  • One contact list. Every founder form, investor note and booking becomes a contact. We bring over the contacts you have now.
  • Online payments, if you ever bill a fee. It goes into your own Stripe, PayPal or Square account. We never hold your money.

A chat box is there if you want it. It only answers from facts you approve. Leave it off if it does not fit.

There is no online store in this starter.

Changing it without a ticket

Funds change. A new partner joins. You back a new company. You open a new fund.

After Launch, you tell the site what you want, in plain English, like a text message. Type "add our new partner, Sam, to the team page." Type "add our newest company to the portfolio grid with this logo." You look it over before it goes live. That way of building is called vibe coding. On the call, you make one real change like this with us beside you.

We also teach you the visual editor. Click a line or a logo and change it in place.

The details

Your site runs in your own Replit account. We charge $0 a month. Your host bills about $20 US a month for use. We can host it for $19 a month if you prefer. You own the code, and you can leave with a full copy any time.
